Lancefield & District Farmers Market has been operating since 2003.

The Market runs on the fourth Saturday of every month, except December when it is the third Saturday.

The Market is an authentic, accredited Farmers Market.

“The Victorian Farmers’ Markets Association defines an authentic farmers’ market as “a predominantly local fresh food and produce market that operates regularly at a public location which provides a suitable environment for farmers and food producers to sell their farm origin product and their associated value added primary products directly to customers.”

Lancefield and District Farmers Market provides a thriving, viable and supportive trading place with face-to-face connection for consumers and producers to build trust and confidence for access to wholesome and sufficient food within and from our local region;  whilst contributing to the economic and social prosperity of the community.

Run by the Lancefield Neighbourhood House the market aims to provide a great shopping experience  – please bring your bags, baskets and trolleys. Dogs are welcome on a leash. Look out for other market attractions such as free face painting, music and relax and sit down areas.
